Center for the Arts

AUC Center for the Arts is the heartbeat of creative expression at the American University in Cairo. The center is a dynamic crossroads where ideas are born, stories are told, and community is engaged through the power of artistic practice.

About Center for the Arts

AUC Center for the Arts provides artistic work being made on the AUC campuses and in Cairo by the Department of the Arts faculty and students.

Our five dynamic programs: Film, Graphic Design, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts form the vibrant heart of a liberal arts education, challenging students to explore the fine arts as a powerful fusion of historical insight, cultural dialogue, and social impact. AUC Center for the Arts produces creative work, including film festivals, theatrical productions, music concerts and visual art and design exhibitions.
