Studying Comparative Literature under the tutelage of the greats of our faculty, awakened my senses to the sublime power of infecting others with the love for the written word. As a teacher, I constantly draw on that love and the inspirational professors who firmly planted it there. This department taught me how to analyze literature without killing the joy of the reading experience.
