I have been an avid reader since the age of six. When my father wanted to punish me for getting bad grades at school he would lock-up my bookcase. Therefore, majoring in English and Comparative Literature, against my father’s will, became the fulfillment of my childhood and adolescent fantasy; and it is a fantasy that has served me well. The study of literature has been a major trigger in encouraging and urging me to explore the human experience in all of its variety and its richness. As an actor and theatre director I find that my background in literature has been a guiding force as well as a major source of inspiration.
