  • English and comparative literature offer students an opportunity to analyze the different questions that literature has posed the central problems of human experience. Graduate students are given valuable skills in critical thinking, reading and writing, and a solid foundation in advanced research methods.
     

  • The department offers a Master of Arts in English and Comparative Literature and a Diploma in Comparative Literary Studies. Both degrees place great emphasis on comparative literary studies and critical theory. Geographically, research topics cover Anglophone, European and Arabic writing, as well as global literature
