Teach With Us

The School of Continuing Education (SCE) is committed to hiring highly qualified and experienced part-time faculty. All SCE faculty members must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree in the field and credentials for planning, designing, developing, delivering and/or facilitating the learning event. 

1. For courses in the area of sales and marketing, HR,  digital marketing,  banking operations, and finance teaching:

A minimum of eight years of professional experience in the area of interest. In addition, the candidate must have a minimum of two years of managerial level experience. Postgraduate studies or international certification is required. Previous experience in teaching/training is preferred.

 

2. For teacher training and TOT courses: 

A minimum of eight years of adult teaching experience together with international certification in the area of training is required.

After the first phase of screening the CV’s, shortlisted candidates will be asked to give a class demonstration as the second phase of recruitment. 

If you have teaching experience, a teacher-training certificate and a high score at an international English proficiency test, come to join our team of professional instructors at SCE.

 

1. For English Language Teaching:

  • An international test score, as shown in the next table, to be submitted with the Curriculum Vitae (CV).  AUC graduates are exempted from submitting test scores.

  • Teacher Training Certificate.

2. Translation Teaching

  • Passing a hiring Translation exam
  • Teaching experience preferred

For courses in the area of IT.

  • A minimum of four years of professional experience in the area of computer and IT applications
    in different reputable institutions, preferably educational. Minimum bachelor's degree in
    computer science, computer engineering, networks, management of information and
    communication technology or similar discipline. A master’s degree or additional certificates will
    be an asset.
